Purpose

To support and amplify LOVEFEST as a community arts and music event through media coverage, event production support, and administrative infrastructure.

Cortes Community Radio Society (CCRS) is proud to support the LOVEFEST Steering Committee, an independent volunteer community group responsible for producing the annual LOVEFEST outdoor concert.

Boundary and Role Clarification

Cortes Community Radio Society (CCRS) participates in LOVEFEST as a community partner, providing media, promotional, financial, and administrative support.

• CCRS acts as a supporting organization through staff and volunteer participation, but is not the event producer.
• The LOVEFEST Steering Committee is solely responsible for event planning, programming, and overall production.
• CCRS oversees grant applications, funding administration, and reporting on behalf of the LOVEFEST Steering Committee.
• CCRS provides financial administration services, including payment processing and fund distribution for tickets, merchandise, artists, contractors, and vendors.

While CCRS facilitates the collection, tracking, and disbursement of funds:

• It acts as a financial intermediary and administrator, not the contracting party.
• It does not act as the employer or contracting party for artists, vendors, or contractors.
• It does not oversee event operations or decision-making.

CCRS is committed to transparent, accurate, and timely financial administration, consistent with standard non-profit practices.
